Pottery Weekend

Join us for a weekend packed with clay fun!

Whether a pottery beginner or improver this is a chance for weekend immersion in creativity.

A class of up to eight will split into two groups to spend up to three hours each day on the pottery wheels learning throwing, trimming, making handles. And three hours each day on handbuilding project using pinch coil and slab techniques.

Using coloured slips and underglazes and techniques such as sgraffito to decorate your hand built pots and choosing glazes for us to apply latterly for you to your wheel thrown pots. (If you wish to return to glaze your wheel thrown pots yourself you may at a surcharge).

We will provide tea/coffee/water and homemade cake. Please bring along a packed lunch or pop out to one of the Town Street cafe’s for your lunch breaks.

Price per person £335 includes clay and firing quota, materials and firings for up to ten pots.
