Do you have experience in potting but have your sights set on throwing bigger and better?

In this workshop we will show you how to move on up the kgs with techniques to make clay weight easier to handle, keep clay distribution under control, avoid mid twists, top flare and collapse!

We will:

• Throw single piece pots bigger.

• Throw and join sectioned pots.

• Throw and add coils to grow.

This workshop is not designed to keep pots we will be cutting through to determine consistency and learning to let them go.

Please bring pack lunch or pop out to nearby sandwich shops. Leeds to Bramley station is 9mins and then a 15min walk to the studio. The mill has its own large free car park we have a lovely craft beer and cocktail bar next door serving pizza and charcuterie in the evenings for post course drinks and chat.
