The Story Behind Our Campaign

Firefly Pottery has always been dedicated to creating an inclusive, friendly, and welcoming community hub for artists, hobbyists, and absolute beginners alike.

Over the years, our trusty old kiln—our "lovely old mucker the Tucker"—has worked overtime! It has fired thousands of pots, bowls, sculptures, and keepsakes made by people across Leeds and Yorkshire. However, after countless firings, our faithful kiln is reaching the end of its working life and needs replacing so we can continue serving our growing creative community.

Without a reliable kiln, the creative journey stops halfway. A new energy-efficient kiln will ensure we can continue firing work for local makers, adult courses, kids' workshops, studio members, and community events without delay.
